Scheduled Upgrade — Portnox 2026.09 Release

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a secure, reliable, and innovative platform, we will perform a scheduled upgrade as part of the Portnox 2026.09 release.

Start Time: Sunday, September 20th at 10:00 PM CDT
Expected Completion: Monday, September 21st at 1:00 AM CDT

Expected Impact

A brief service interruption lasting no more than a few minutes may occur during the upgrade. An interruption is unlikely, and no action is required from customers.

What’s Included

Palo Alto Firewall Integration
A new integration with Palo Alto firewalls provides user-to-IP mapping, enabling firewall administrators to define access policies based on individual users, accounts, or group membership rather than relying solely on IP addresses or subnets.

SCIM Automated Provisioning for Portnox Administrators
SCIM (System for Cross-Domain Identity Management) support automates the provisioning and deprovisioning of Portnox administrator accounts, reducing administrative overhead and simplifying the onboarding and offboarding lifecycle.

AI Risk Attribute for AgentP
A new AI Risk Attribute allows Portnox administrators to assign a risk level to unapproved AI assistants detected on end-user devices, providing greater visibility and control over AI-related endpoint risk.

On-Premises File Share Access with Portnox ZTNA
Portnox ZTNA can now provide end users with secure access to on-premises file shares through the MyApps portal. Users can access files and folders through their web browser or interact with them natively through Windows File Explorer or macOS Finder.
