Portnox Cloud Platform
Enhanced mobile device risk visibility
- Portnox now integrates with Microsoft Intune’s Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) status, allowing threat assessments from supported EDR solutions, such as Microsoft Defender, to be incorporated into Portnox risk policies. Organizations can automatically translate mobile device threat levels into risk scores and remediation actions, helping ensure that compromised devices are identified and appropriate network access decisions are enforced automatically.
Stronger security for ChromeOS and Google-managed devices
- Portnox now supports Google Verified Access, enabling administrators to enforce access policies based on cryptographic proof that a device is genuine, enterprise-managed, and compliant with organizational security policies. This gives organizations greater confidence that only trusted ChromeOS and Google-managed devices can connect to corporate networks and applications, helping reduce the risk of unauthorized or compromised endpoints gaining access.
Smarter MAC-based onboarding
- We’ve enhanced MAC-address-based onboarding to intelligently recognize devices that are already enrolled and authenticating with 802.1X. This prevents duplicate device records, reduces administrative overhead, and keeps your device inventory cleaner and more accurate.
Greater flexibility for SIEM integrations
- The Portnox Cloud SIEM integration now supports custom HTTP headers, making it easier to integrate with a wider range of SIEM and log management platforms. Organizations can accommodate vendor-specific authentication and routing requirements without custom development, simplifying deployment and future integrations.
Expanded support for Azure Government
- Portnox now supports Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Intune deployments hosted in Azure Government (GovCloud). Public sector organizations and regulated industries can now leverage the same cloud-native identity and device posture integrations while meeting government cloud requirements.
Branded onboarding experience
- Administrators can now upload their company logo directly into Portnox Cloud, which is automatically displayed within Portnox Connect. This provides users with a familiar, branded onboarding experience that builds trust, reinforces corporate identity, and delivers a more polished first impression during device enrollment.
Improved support for Fortinet network infrastructure
- Fortinet has been added to the list of supported Network Access Server (NAS) vendors, allowing Portnox to automatically recognize Fortinet network devices and apply policy to them dynamically. This simplifies deployment, reduces administrative effort, and improves compatibility in environments using Fortinet networking equipment.
Greater flexibility for complex Okta deployments
- Administrators can now manually add or remove Okta short domains, providing greater control over identity repository configuration. This improves compatibility for organizations using multiple external identity repositories and helps ensure seamless authentication across more complex Okta environments.

Find the sessions that matter faster
- The ZTNA Session History page now includes powerful search and filtering capabilities, making it significantly easier to locate specific recorded sessions during investigations, troubleshooting, or compliance audits.
AI-powered session summaries
- Selecting a session recording now opens a detailed side panel containing all associated session information and actions, along with an AI-generated summary of the activity that occurred. Security teams can quickly understand what happened during a session without watching the entire recording, accelerating investigations and reducing response times.
Portnox Captive Portal
Native support for Ruckus SmartZone
- Portnox Captive Portal now integrates with Ruckus SmartZone cloud-managed wireless infrastructure, allowing organizations using Ruckus Wi-Fi to deploy secure guest access and captive portal workflows without additional integration complexity.
Network Access Control
EAP-TEAP support for stronger network authentication
- Portnox now supports EAP-TEAP (Tunneled Extensible Authentication Protocol), enabling multiple authentication methods and identities to be cryptographically bound together during a single 802.1X authentication exchange. Organizations can verify both the user and the device before granting network access, providing significantly stronger assurance than user-only or device-only authentication. This helps reduce the risk of compromised credentials being used from unauthorized devices while simplifying deployments that require multi-factor network authentication.
TACACS+
Improved alert management
- TACACS+ alerts can now be filtered by server, allowing administrators to quickly isolate events from specific infrastructure components. This simplifies troubleshooting, speeds incident response, and makes it easier to monitor large or distributed TACACS+ deployments.
