Portnox 2026.06 Release Announcement from 2026-06-07 22:00 CDT to 2026-06-08 01:00 CDT
Updates
In our ongoing commitment to providing outstanding service, we will perform a scheduled upgrade as part of our 2026.06 release.
Start Time: Sunday, June 7th @ 10:00 PM CDT
Expected Completion: Monday, June 8th @ 1:00 AM CDT
Impact:
A brief interruption of service lasting no more than a few minutes is possible, however unlikely.
What’s Included:
-
Periodic forced 802.1x or MAB re-authentication via CoA can now be enabled/disabled, and its interval configured through the Portnox admin portal
-
Deploying a Local RADIUS or TACACS+ Docker container is now as simple as copy, paste, and run. No more exporting variables or manually cobbling together Docker run commands.
-
It is now possible to specify a minimum required build number for each Windows OS version as part of a risk policy
-
MAC-address-based onboarding has been radically overhauled to better align with customer expectations.
When enabled, MAC authentication requests are approved automatically and mapped to a group of the admin’s choosing. These MAC addresses are then added to either a new or existing vendor-specific MAB account.
Once MAC-address-based onboarding is disabled, devices that were created during onboarding will continue to authenticate to the network normally. Any new MAC authentication requests from devices not added during onboarding will fail authentication until they are added to a MAB account whitelist.
Text-based session recordings are now available for SSH and Telnet console connections over ZTNA.
A new Session History tab that allows admins the ability to view, search and filter console session recordings. From this tab, admins can also play, download, or even obtain an AI summary of what occurred during the recorded session.
