ADBroker maintenance new dates

ADBroker maintenance will be delayed by another week, so rollout will start on November 27th.

Updated schedule:

• Phase 1 – November 27th: Organizations with up to 100 devices
• Phase 2 – December 4th: Organizations with up to 1,000 devices
• Phase 3 – December 11th: All remaining organizations

ADBroker maintenance will be restarted due to a bug found in ‘Portnox Directory Broker Configuration’, where application cannot be started.

‘Portnox Directory Broker Configuration’ is an independent application used for updating ADBroker configuration (e.g. set password).

• Phase 1 – November 20th: Organizations with up to 100 devices
• Phase 2 – November 27th: Organizations with up to 1,000 devices
• Phase 3 – December 4th: All remaining organizations

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide the best possible service, Portnox will begin rolling out an update to the ADBroker service (v1.1.325) starting Thursday, October 30th.

This update will be delivered using a phased rollout approach. No service interruption is expected.

Schedule:

• Phase 1 – October 30th: Organizations with up to 100 devices
• Phase 2 – November 6th: Organizations with up to 1,000 devices
• Phase 3 – November 13th: All remaining organizations

Important Requirement

• The ADBroker service requires .NET Framework version 4.7.2 or higher.
• If your current environment uses an older version, the upgrade will fail, rendering ADBroker broken and requiring manual intervention to repair

What’s Included in This Update:

• Security Enhancements: Updates to core libraries for improved security and reliability.
• Password Handling Fix: Resolves issue where special characters (like ; or =) were not accepted in password fields.
• Group Mapping Fix: Resolves an issue where repository sync fails due to duplicate group mappings.
• SIEM Integration: Improves handling of large SIEM messages to ensure proper forwarding to providers such as Google SecOps.
