What’s Included:

Portnox Cloud Platform Improvements:

Introducing Portnox Connect for Windows, a streamlined onboarding experience that gets users connected in just a few clicks by automatically applying the appropriate network profile and provisioning certificates with little to no user intervention.
Updates to the Report Scheduling UI introduce improved controls that make report scheduling easier to manage.
Portnox Cloud can now forward alerts and administrative activity to Google SecOps, helping security teams centralize monitoring and investigation.
The Device Details pages have been updated with sortable columns, alphabetically organized device details, selectable text, and a responsive layout that makes better use of the full browser width for easier review and navigation.
The allowed group limit has been raised to 1,000 to better support larger deployments and more complex policy requirements.
Admins can now submit feedback and feature requests directly from within the Portnox Cloud Portal, making it easier to share ideas and help shape future improvements.

ZTNA Improvements:

Session recording now supports SSH, VNC, and Telnet, so admins can see what happened during privileged access, not just that access occurred.
ZTNA now lets admins publish resources and applications for launch through either the web-based RDP client or the native Microsoft Remote Desktop client via Remote Desktop Gateway.
ZTNA now supports secure remote access from mobile devices, helping IT respond quickly and users stay productive from anywhere.

If your organization uses Local TACACS+ virtual appliance or Local TACACS+ docker container with credential-based authentication and Microsoft Entra ID or OKTA as an Identity provider, please make sure you whitelist the following subnets to bypass MFA requirements:

East US: 20.85.190.232/29
West EU: 20.67.6.144/29
Follow our documentation to see how to bypass MFA for Entra ID and OKTA.

This feature will roll out in seven phases throughout April, with each phase starting one day after the previous one. Organizations will be switched to new routing at 2AM CDT on given day. Customers can identify their enablement date using the schedule below and the corresponding tenant criteria.

April 14th - Organizations starting with letters ‘A-B’
April 15th - Organizations starting with letter ‘C’
April 16th - Organizations starting with letters ‘D-G’
April 20th - Organizations starting with letters ‘H-L’
April 21st - Organizations starting with letters ‘M-P’
April 22nd - Organizations starting with letters ’Q-T’
April 23rd - Organizations starting with letters ‘U-Z’

With the enablement of this feature, no interruption in service is expected provided these IPs have been allowlisted in advance. To avoid any potential service disruption, we strongly recommend that your organization add these IPs as soon as possible, ideally before your maintenance window. What’s Included:

ZTNA Improvements

Administrators can now define credentials that will be utilized by all users accessing a particular resource
It is now possible for users to optionally save their credentials used for accessing a particular resource
From within an SSH session, users can now optionally upload or download files to/from the remote host.
Administrators can now optionally enable session recording when defining any console-based resource.
Okta SSO can now be utilized for accessing the ZTNA Secure Access (MyApps) Portal
Windows Remote Desktop sessions now properly support the use of load balancers
Connecting to Remote Desktop resources on Hyper-V hosts accessible only through VMConnect is now possible
Hostnames and FQDNs can now be used in place of IP addresses when defining a console-based resource
It is now possible to pass language and time zone settings as part of the SSH resource configuration
Advanced console-based connection settings have been moved to the resource configuration settings

NAC Improvements

It is now possible to utilize Intune as a dynamic source of whitelisted MAC addresses
Addressed an issue where ‘Hide Events from this User’ did not work for ‘MAC bypass denied’ alerts if the MAC was uppercase
Instances where the MAC address shown in the Alert title, Alert details, and Session details did not match have been addressed

TACACS+ Improvements

Palo Alto and F5 have been added as NAS vendors within the TACACS+ policy builder

Portnox Cloud Platform Improvements

Addressed an issue where the endpoint Cloud API URL was not populating on the Help page
Names of applications exported in a CSV file are no longer displayed with ‘name’ and ‘vendor’ concatenated into a single cell
